Course of Introduction to Meditation

The Introduction Meditation course is imparted along 12 hours distributed during two days. During this period it will be given a complete theoretical explanation of the purpose of this method of work with the mind, with the purpose to acquire a better comprehension of what is meditation. Likewise, the ones who attend the course will receive different techniques for meditating.

How to start a practice of meditation, how to develop it and how to end the session are some of the topics treated during the first course, in which there will be also explained the norms to follow in aspects such as the best hours for the meditation, the best postures or the more convenient diet in order to obtain deeper and subtler mental states during the meditative process. Likewise, there will be known the principle obstacles that the novel practitioner has to face or the benefits derived from this kind of practice. Finally, during this first course of introduction there will be learnt the techniques of the samatha or shine meditation of tranquility.

The participants will receive the book “Manual of Introduction to Meditation”, published by E.L.A. and written by the founder of Trikaya, the Saya Kunsal Kassapa. In it are exposed some of the points treated during the course and are included a set of prayers. At the same time, the practitioners will receive a certificate of attendance given by the Trikaya Association.

Meditation Course

 

This course of meditation will take place during the second year, after being attended the Course of Introduction to Meditation o after receiving the authorization from the Saya Kunsal Kassapa. During this second course, also imparted along 12 hours, it will be also treated the importance of the meditation and it will be analyzed the significance of the different results of its practice. At this level, there will be provided more meditative techniques for the development of a durable state of calm abiding (inner calmness) and it will be saw in detail a specific sadhana (spiritual discipline). As an example and inspiration there will be also studied the biographies and inner accomplishments of different eminent masters.

 The ones who attended the course will receive the book “Meditation of the Mental Tranquility”, also published by E.L.A and written by the Saya Kunsal Kassapa. In it are exposed with detail the different meditative states and the different techniques of the meditation shine of the mental tranquility. It also includes the Heart Sutra, the discourse which put in movement the second turn of the Wheel of Dharma. At the end of the course, Trikaya will grant a certificate of attendance to all the participants.

 

Course of Meditation of the Inner Knowledge (Vipassana-Latong)

 

The practice in group of a Sadhana will be one of the activities developed in this third course of meditation, during which there will be also learnt the different techniques of meditation for the inner knowledge which have to be evolved during the year. Together with it, it will be emphasized the importance of the motivation Bodhiçitta towards the benefit of all beings.

During the course it will be provided written material and it will be given the Chenrezy Sadhana and a certificate of attendance granted by the association Trikaya.
