The Documentary Blow Horn
A group of Spanish Buddhists, who had been preparing themselves during a long process, visit the Sherap Ling Monastery, in the proximities of Dharamsala (India), where His Eminance the XII Tai Situpa Rinpoche resides. In the course of the interview they receive the last initiations and instructions, for some to follow the dayly life harmonized with the inner search, and for others to iniciate a secluded tree years and seven months retreat in a Buddhist Center in Spain.
In this meeting and journey, which had the collaboration of Trikaya, they are acompained by the Catalan film maker and director Lluis Miñarro, who through the documentary Blow Horn, which was released at the end of September 2010 at Barcelona, can show in a real and transparent way the experiences lived and the spiritual exploration. Ilustrated witht the photography of Christophe Farmarier, the documentary include the presence of Lama Jinpa Gyamtso, of Lama Champa Tsondru, of Ignacio Jaen, of His Eminance the XIV Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche and of the XII Tai Situpa Rinpoche himself.
With this third documentary, besides honoring to those who explore their inner self for the benefit of others, the Catalan director shows the posibilities of the screen in order to reflect all the colour and iconography that characterize this doctrine of the Dharma.
